1. Time travel in the exhibition "Childhood"
The exhibition Barndom (Childhood) is made primarily for children, and has several activities for the kids. You’ll find a combination of fun and facts for children and adults.
Get a glimpse of how it was to be a child in the 20th century. Hoist a sail or try to milk a cow in 1910. If you travel to the 1960’s you can crawl in under the book “Mormor og de åtte ungene”, or watch an episode of the TV series “Falkeklubben” in black & white. In the 1990’s you may see Harry Potter fly over your head on his Nimbus 2000.

2. Treasure hunt
Our exhibitions contains many treasures. Go on a treasure-hunt and receive a little reward. No additonal cost.
3. Free entry
There is no entrance fee for kids under the age of 16.
4. Family days
We hold events for children and families on selected Sundays and during the school holidays. The activities are often linked to the seasons or to our exhibitions. You can find more information about our children’s events here.
5. Ice cream and Waffles
In our café you can relax and enjoy an ice-cream and a freshly made Norwegian waffle.
